Imetec Self-Propelled Silage Reclaimer: Core Equipment for Efficiency Revolution in Pastures
Against the backdrop of large-scale and standardized development of modern animal husbandry, the efficient retrieval and quality control of silage have become key links in reducing costs and improving efficiency for pastures. Tailored for large-scale dairy farms and sheep farms, Imetec self-propelled silage reclaimer replaces the traditional manual and forklift operation mode with innovative design, making it core equipment driving the innovation of production efficiency in pastures.
This equipment adopts an all-electric drive design, cutting operating costs at the source. It costs only a dozen yuan per hour for electricity, less than one-tenth the cost of fuel-powered forklifts, which can significantly save pasture expenses in long-term operation. Equipped with a hydraulic four-wheel drive traveling system, it is flexible in movement and convenient in steering, able to move freely among various silos. The whole process of reclaiming and conveying can be completed by a single operator, greatly saving labor input. With an operating efficiency of 20 to 35 tons per hour, it adapts to silo heights from 3 to 9 meters, meeting efficient reclaiming demands for both small and medium-sized pastures and large-scale breeding groups.
In terms of feed quality protection, the machine is equipped with a drum-type cutting structure and multiple high-strength wear-resistant blades. It ensures a flat and compact cutting surface during reclaiming, effectively blocking air from entering the silo and avoiding secondary fermentation, heating and deterioration of silage, thus preserving the nutritional components of silage to the greatest extent. The conveying parts adopt food-grade hot-dip galvanized chain scrapers, which are clean, hygienic, odor-free and bacteria-resistant, reducing the incidence of digestive tract diseases in livestock and supporting the improvement of breeding benefits.
The fuselage is made of thickened manganese steel plate with stable center of gravity, avoiding shaking during operation and adapting to various scenarios such as silos and silage trenches. The full-hydraulic control system runs stably and reliably with low failure rate and long service life of core components, effectively reducing later maintenance costs. It is also equipped with multiple safety protection devices such as hydraulic braking, automatic locking and emergency shutdown, preventing sliding even when operating on slopes and fully protecting the safety of operators.
