How to Ensure the Mixing Uniformity of the Imetec 9JGW-25 Stationary Horizontal Mixer

The Imetec 9JGW-25 is a 25m³ large-capacity stationary horizontal TMR mixer specially designed for large-scale ranches with 10,000+ cattle. Its mixing uniformity is stably controlled at CV ≤ 3% with an overall uniformity rate exceeding 95%. A full-chain guarantee system covering structural design, mechanical transmission, intelligent control and process execution thoroughly solves the industry problems such as easy stratification, caking and uneven mixing of large-capacity feed.

In terms of core mixing structure, the machine adopts a dual-shaft reverse spiral convection system. Two mixing shafts rotate synchronously in reverse, matched with forward and reverse spiral blades, forming a three-dimensional circulation in the cylinder. It forces the full cross-replacement of silage, straw, concentrate and additives of different proportions and forms, fundamentally eliminating the mixing dead angles and material stratification common in single-shaft models. Equipped with a large U-shaped wear-resistant cylinder with a smooth interior and no splicing dead ends, combined with a large-volume flow field layout, it ensures that every material can participate in the complete cycle under 25m³ full-load condition, realizing global uniform mixing.

To further improve uniformity, the equipment is equipped with a graded shear blade group. High-hardness wear-resistant blades are reasonably arranged on the auger, which can accurately chop and rub long-fiber straw and block silage, control the feed fiber length within an ideal range, and avoid long grass winding and concentrate sedimentation. The blades are made of wear-resistant materials and maintain stable cutting effect during long-term operation, so that coarse and fine materials are fully integrated, eliminating local nutrient enrichment or deficiency. Meanwhile, the gap between the auger blades and the cylinder wall is precisely adjusted, and the ultra-small gap design greatly reduces material residue, avoiding the mixing imbalance of the next batch caused by residual material accumulation.

Intelligent control and precise proportioning are the key guarantees for uniformity. The equipment is equipped with high-precision weighing modules with a weighing error controlled within 1%, which can accurately complete the quantitative delivery of various raw materials. Cooperated with the PLC intelligent control system, it supports the storage and automatic execution of more than 100 formulas, and strictly standardizes the feeding sequence, mixing time and speed. Adopting frequency conversion speed regulation technology, the speed can be automatically adjusted according to the mixing process: high speed at the initial stage to disperse materials, medium speed in the middle stage for full mixing, and low speed in the later stage to stabilize flow and maintain uniformity. The standardized process ensures high consistency of mixing effect of each batch.

In addition, the equipment adopts a hydraulic large-door rapid unloading structure with smooth unloading and no residue, effectively avoiding cross-contamination of raw materials in different batches and ensuring the uniformity and stability of each batch of feed. The whole machine is made of thickened wear-resistant manganese steel with a firm and non-deformable structure, maintaining the initial mixing accuracy during long-term high-load operation.

With multiple guarantees of mechanical structure, intelligent control and process optimization, the Imetec 9JGW-25 ensures stable and reliable uniformity of large-capacity stationary mixing, providing solid equipment support for precise feeding in large-scale ranches and improving feed intake and milk yield of dairy cows.
