Adopting trackless integrated navigation technology, the equipment requires no magnetic strips, rails or reconstruction of barn infrastructure. Centimeter-level precise positioning is realized via LiDAR and visual SLAM. The unit can independently map barns rapidly after arrival, and feeding routes can be adjusted flexibly. It can be directly deployed in both new and existing ranches, greatly cutting upfront renovation investment. A multi-sensor system delivers 360° all-round protection. Combined with LiDAR, binocular vision and ultrasonic sensors, it identifies cattle, staff and debris on site in real time. It automatically slows down to avoid obstacles and brakes in emergencies, effectively preventing collisions and lowering risks of equipment damage and livestock injury.

Equipped with a large-capacity lithium iron phosphate battery, the all-electric machine operates quietly to reduce livestock stress and ensure stable feeding for dairy and beef cattle. Supporting automatic charging and scheduled start-stop, it enables round-the-clock cyclic operation and multi-batch quantitative feeding free from manpower schedules. Integrated with both feeding and feed pushing functions, its bidirectional conveying structure ensures even feed spreading. It continuously pushes forage to the front of feeding troughs, facilitating livestock access to feed and minimizing waste caused by air drying and trampling. It raises dry matter intake, contributing to higher milk yield and beef weight gain.

In terms of operation management, the intelligent vehicle connects to the ranch IoT cloud platform. Managers can remotely assign feeding tasks via mobile phones or tablets, monitor equipment status, feeding volume and operation tracks in real time, and automatically store feeding data. Supported by data, refined feeding control replaces experience-based manual feeding and ensures accurate implementation of diet formulas.

In the long run, the equipment greatly reduces manpower demand for feeding work and eases the difficulties of recruitment and high labor expenses. Frequent human entry into barns is also reduced, cutting human-livestock contact and improving biosecurity conditions. Robustly structured, the machine adapts to dusty, humid complex working environments on farms with easy maintenance.

Compared with traditional manual feeding and track-type feeding equipment, IMETEC intelligent unmanned feeding vehicle features outstanding flexibility, universality and intelligence. Suitable for newly-built large ranches and upgrading of old farms, it facilitates the transformation and upgrading of breeding modes through an unmanned feeding system, serving as core intelligent equipment for modern large-scale cattle and sheep ranches.
